We won't ask you your age but how long have you been a Melbourne supporter?
 52 years (minus 6 months spent supporting Richmond when I was 12, hoping it might make my grandfather like me more!)
 
How did you become a Melbourne supporter?
Legacy. I'm 3rd generation & I've made sure my brothers kids are 4th generation.

How long have you been in the cheer squad? And what made you decide to join?
I joined as a kid when we were in the Red seat area but no-one in my family would sit with me and I was too scared to join in. Sophie and Ryan insisted I join in 2012 after leaving the MFC stats team.

Favourite current player?
Harry Petty

Favourite Melbourne player ever?
Robbie Flower with Adem Yze a very close second.

Favourite game?
Round 22 1987. Dees come from behind to win an epic game that gives Robbie Flower another chance to win a Grand Final. Never forget the roar when Hawks hit the front against Geelong. The players thought the game had ended and stopped playing.

Greatest player you ever saw? This can be from any club.

Highest point in your footballing career
AFL Grand Final win 2021 (but terribly sad at the same time). AFLW Grand Final win in 2023 and being there to celebrate with everyone.

Lowest point in your footballing career
Equal: The 186 point drubbing by Geelong at Kardina Park and the 2018 Final loss to West Coast Eagles in Perth. 

Any football superstitions?
Don't touch any flags/floggers/heads while our players are kicking for goal. AND never watch Max kick for goal.

Craziest thing you've ever done for the Dees?
Too many to count. What with FIFO to Perth for a game. Prebooking flights and accommodation 2 weeks out from the 2018 prelim to avoid the horrendous flight hikes. Agreeing to be interviewed on The Footy Show only to not have it happen due to other team major incidents on the night (thank goodness!).

The editor would also like to add getting MFC and Demon Army tattoos, staying in a backpackers hostel for a match in Darwin and driving to Canberra with Ryan as other contenders.
