Getting to the Gabba: Public Transport is the best way to get to The Gabba and is included FREE with your ticket., with many bus lines leaving from Brisbane Central station. Visit Translink to plan your journey.

The Demon Army will be seated in Bay M3 in the Southern Stand. Enter Gate 4

Join us this Sunday afternoon for our opening game of the 2018 AFL Home and Away season as we face the Geelong Cats. Let’s rock up in our loudest and proudest Demons colours and cheer the boys on towards their first victory of the year. Plenty will be happening around the mighty MCG before, during and after the game, so make sure you get there early and enjoy what the club have in store for us all. Don’t forget to visit the Demon Army behind the goals (Bay M3 in the Southern Stand) to wave a flag or banner and purchase a first goal kicker or margin ticket from our magnificent volunteers.

Parking: 
 Gate 3: 11.00am, Gate 5: 12.00pm, Gate 6: 12.00pm, Gate 7: 10.30am
Subject to weather conditions, a limited number of public parking spaces will be available in Yarra Park. Due to these limitations, fans are encouraged to take public transport to the match where possible.

Sunday Funday: Children under 15 are admitted free to this match. Subject to weather, fans will be able to have a kick on the turf after the match.

Pre-match Drinks: London Tavern from 12.30pm

Halftime Drinks: Lock Up Bar, underneath M3 at the MCG


TV times: The game will be broadcast live on both Channel 7 and Fox Sports 3 from 3pm

Join us this Saturday night for a top of the table clash as the Mighty Melbourne Demons Women's team take on fellow women’s AFL pioneers, the Western Bulldogs. The winner goes straight in to the 2018 AFLW Grand Final. The loser: an agonising wait for the results of other matches, to see if they will fight for the 2018 Premiership Cup. Both teams were touted as Premiership favourites before the beginning of this year’s season had even started. So let’s get everyone there and wipe the white out of the West and leave it in a state of Red and Blue!
 
Getting To Victoria University Whitten Oval
Train: Whitten Oval is a short stroll from West Footscray station - on the Sydenham/Watergardens line.
Tram: By tram from the city, catch the #57 West Maribyrnong service. The #57 links at Maribyrnong Road with the #82, which passes within a block of the ground.
Bus: Routes: 409; Yarraville – Footscray, 410; Sunshine – Footscray, 411; Laverton Railway Station - Altona Meadows – Altona – Footscray (via Millers Road), 412; Altona Meadows – Altona – Footscray (via Mills Street), 414; Laverton South – Laverton - Footscray.
