JIM'S GAME
The celebratory match day will recognise the life and legacy of club great Jim Stynes, who played 264 games in the red and blue, while raising funds for the foundation named in his honour. The Round 1 event will see the Dees paint the town green, with Irish games, traditions and entertainment to take over the hallowed turf and its surrounds. More exciting activity will be revealed in the lead-up to the day. All donations raised from Jim’s Game will go directly to the Jim Stynes Foundation, which was first created in 2015 to continue developing programs and initiatives that focus on inspiring young people to believe in themselves and thrive. In partnership with Melbourne since 2023, the Foundation strives to have impact on youth in three core areas: leadership, mental health and programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. As it grows, the Foundation will look to further support its community partners in achieving its mission, while continuing to carry on Stynes’ legacy. This year’s Jim’s Game will be the first of many, with the dedicated match to form part of the Demons’ AFL fixture moving forward. Dees fans are encouraged to don a touch of green for the special occasion, which will be held on the eve of St Patrick’s Day. LEARN MORE AND DONATE TO JIM STYNES FOUNDATION Vertical Divider
FRIENDSHIP BRACLETS
Purchase a Jim's Game Friendship Bracelet for $6 and all proceeds will be donated to the Jim Stynes Foundation. Two styles to choose from, with 4 sizes available. We also have player friendship bracelets!
Let us know when ordering what player you'd like. Please allow up to 2 weeks for collection (so our merchandise volunteers can make them!). Big thanks to Janya & her merry band of helpers for putting all of these together! |
SEE YOU AT THE LOCK UP

TICKETING PROCESS
It's been a few months since we've done this, so a reminder of the process. You book with us using the links provided and you'll get an email confirming your reservation from Trybooking. This is your confirmation that you're included in the cheer squad allocation. The week before the match, we'll get the link to purchase the actual tickets, and we send that link through to you. If you're an interstate member and entitled to a free match ticket in your state, we can also arrange that for you. Our allocation is separate to the usual general public tickets, so we'll always have a block of tickets, even for sold out games and games with limited tickets. Our tickets are always the cheapest and are always at ground level. We know some people get worried that they've booked flights and accommodation and don't have the physical ticket in their hand, but you just have to trust our process and the meticulous work done by our ticketing team. We won't let you down! Vertical Divider
SLEEP AT THE G
The Demon Army team has a Sleep at the G team again this year. Or if you can spare a few dollars, we're aiming to raise for $2500 for youth homelessness. Click here to donate. |
