We've finally been able to restock our popular Demon Army ponchos and they're now available on our website. We're not pretending for a second that these ponchos are fashionable or attractive but they will keep you dry and warm. We've got a number of games coming up where the majority of our seats are in the open, including King's Birthday, so these ponchos are a wise investment. You can order yours here for collection at MCG home matches.

HOW OUR TICKETING WORKS
To assist our new members, and as a reminder to our existing members, here's how ticketing works for The Demon Army.

• For most home games at the MCG, members simply use their membership (MFC, AFL, MCC) to gain entry into the ground and then head to our area (M3, behind the goals, Punt Road end).
• For interstate matches and bigger games where demand is higher (Anzac Eve, King's Birthday) members will be asked to register via Trybooking. Links will be sent well in advance via our weekly email. The confirmation you receive from Trybooking is not your ticket - it just shows you've registered.
• We then place an order for tickets, depending on how many have registered.
• For some venues (mainly interstate), tickets will need to purchased by the individual via Ticketek or Ticketmaster. We'll send you a link to purchase closer to the game.
• For bigger games, our ticketing team receive a bulk allocation of tickets and will email yours to you.

Unfortunately there is not an AFL ground in the country that will accept a Trybooking confirmation or an email from a cheer squad as proof of entry. You will always need either your membership (MFC, AFL, MCC) or a Ticketek/Ticketmaster ticket to get into a ground. Keep an eye on our weekly email for ticketing updates.

Public parking is available for $35 and is subject to capacity and weather.

Open from 6:00am for hotel/ event permits only
North (Enter via Pennington Tce):
Open from 6:00am for event permits/contractors only
Open from 10:30am for limited public/accessibility parking
University Lane (Enter via King William Rd):
Open from 10:30am for limited public parking
Torrens Parade Ground (Enter via Victoria Dr):
Open from 10:30am for public and accessibility parking

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Adelaide Oval Express Bus, Train and Tram services will be in operation. Free for AFL game ticket holders until the last service. More info at adelaidemetro.com.au

War Memorial Drive:

• 9:30am – 11:30pm

King William Road:

• 9:30am – 3:00pm (25km/h speed restriction)
• 3:00pm – 5:00pm (full closure for AO Express)
• 5:00pm – 9:20pm (25km/h speed restriction)
• 9:20pm – 11:30pm (full closure for AO Express)

Pennington Terrace:

• 3:00pm – 5:00pm
• 9:20pm – 11:30pm

North Terrace:

• 3:10pm – 5:00pm (Victoria Street to King William Road)
• 9:30pm – 11:30pm (Victoria Street to King William Road)

A portion of the footpath located between the pedestrian crossing and King William Road on the Southern side of War Memorial Drive will be closed from 6:00am Thursday 9 April until 11:59pm Sunday 12 April 2026.
