First Goalkicker Tickets
What started out as a bit of a fundraiser has now become a Demon Army institution.
How it works
You give us $2 and we randomly allocate you a player's name. If your player kicks the first goal, we give you $20. Simple.
Up until 2020, this had all been managed on match day with a heap of coins and paper tickets but we had to adapt during Covid times. Now the whole process is done online using TryBooking.
Check social media and the match day page for the link each week. Good luck!

Where your money goes
The cash raised by our First Goalkicker tickets mainly goes back to the Melbourne Football Club through our sponsorship of Ed Langdon, Eliza McNamara and Tyla Hanks. It also allows us to contribute to various charities during the year e.g. Freeze MND, Reach, etc. All jokes about it funding Rhiannon's lavish lifestyle are welcome though.

Meet the First Goalkicker Team
Here are the four key people responsible for First Goalkickers. Some are good with technology, some are administratively minded and some are just tenacious little bulldogs who'll nag you until you buy a ticket.

Tickets are allocated randomly and will be sent via email prior to the match. Although this is an above-board and heavily monitored process, we're also happy to have a bit of fun with it, as our testimonials will show.
