PROBLEMS WITH DOWNLOADING TICKETS
There are definitely some quirks to the Ticketmaster and Ticketek systems. Don't worry - plenty of people are having the same problems. We've created guide to walk you through the main problem our members experience when trying to access their ticket through Ticketek. Check out the PDF below and thanks to Mandy for putting it together.
- For most home games at the MCG, members simply use their membership to gain entry into the ground and then walk into our area (M3, behind the goals, Punt Road/Southern Stand end).
- For bigger games where demand for tickets is higher (Anzac Eve, King's birthday, etc), members will be asked to register their interest in ticket via Trybooking. Trybooking links will be sent out via our weekly email. Please note - the confirmation you get from Trybooking is not your ticket - it just shows you've registered.
- We then order tickets directly through either the MFC or the opposition club for away matches.
- Our ticketing team work out a seating plan based on members requests and preferences.
- For some venues, tickets will need to be purchased by the individual via Ticketmaster or Ticketek. For other venues, The Demon Army receive a bulk allocation of tickets and will distribute them.
- Tickets are sent directly to members' phones or emails
