All major airlines fly into Hobart, with the flight taking about 1hr 15 from Melbourne. The airport is about 20km from the city centre. HEADING TO THE GROUND From the airport there is a Skybus which is $36 return to the city with 6 stops around the city. https://www.skybus.com.au/hobart-express/ Taxis from the airport are around $57 each way and an Uber fare is about $40, depending on the time of day. (DiDi hasn't arrived in Hobart yet so Uber is your only option). There is very limited parking available around Blundstone Arena on event day, so patrons planning on attending are encouraged to make use of the public transport available. If you must drive, then below are some parking options in the area: South Street Reserve Bellerive (Free) Kangaroo Bay (Free) By Bus There is a bus service that goes from Hobart City Centre to Blundstone Arena. Visit https://www.metrotas.com.au/ for details Ride Share and Taxi Services The pick-up and drop off point for the ride share services, is located on Douglas Street. We encourage guests not to order their ride share or taxi service until they have reached the pick-up point to avoid causing congestion in the pick-up area. WHERE WE SIT Where Demon Army sit varies, depending on the area North Melbourne allocate us. In 2023, we sat in Bay 22 in the stand. It's under cover and a much better spot than where we've been previously on the fence. WHERE WE STAY There are plenty of accommodation options in the city but not too many within walking distance of the ground. TIPS FROM THE LOCALS Salamanca Market runs every Saturday from 8.30am-3pm. It is your duty to eat as many giant Freckles, fudge and bratwursts as you can.
