Family Area at the 'G

In 2020, we had hoped to start a designated family area for our home games at the MCG. Covid-19 put an end to that but we were able to have this up and running in 2023. The Demon Army have secured an area behind the goals next to the cheer squad, suitable for families with small kids. The area will not be roped off or marked as reserved but M4 (Punt Road end) is the place to be if you're heading to the footy with a posse of little Demons. We'll aim for about 4 rows back and see how we go.

Are we going to become a creche for your kids while you head off to the bar for the entire game?
Hell, no! Yes, we've completed our Working with Children checks. Yes, we've completed the Victorian Child Safe Standards training. We have teachers, nurses, police officers, child care professionals and numerous responsible parents in our midst. But we're not there to babysit your kids, we're there to help out. What we can guarantee is we'll help provide a safe and entertaining area for parents with young kids. They can be close to the action but not right in the middle of it. Our friends at the MFC will send the mascots over and we'll get some fun stuff happening. There'll be flags to wave, high fives all round and plenty of opportunity to yell and cheer. We'll also happily mind your gear and save your seats if you need to get your little darlings some food or do the inevitable toilet run, just as the game starts getting entertaining.
